Persons seeking rental assistance can apply online or apply at the IHFA Branch Office that serves their region. The average waiting list time is approximately 12 to 18 months.
If you prefer a paper application, the rental assistance application and supplemental form must be printed, completed and signed in ink, then mailed or hand-delivered to the appropriate branch office location to be considered.
